A Gastronomic Experience At Mesa 30th Ayala Mall

I was so excited to try the food of Mesa although if you come to think of it, Filipino Dish is totally common and always served in our own house. However, what #Mesa30th has to offer is something really interesting.

They put some twist and turns to their menu as well as in their recipe. I will tell you more details later on. For now, let me describe to you how cozy the place is and very homey. It's like your dining on your place where the usual members of the family could be there to complete the whole dining moment.

The lighting was so warm and the light bubbles was really amusing. The staff are really friendly and even the owners.

Now, let tell you one by one the food and how we started the whole gastronomic experience. The introduction of Sir Mags was so brief. The restaurant was just opened last January 30 of this year. Numbers is very significant to them and to the Ayala Mall because the mall address was number 30th along Meralco Ave. in Ortigas and the 30th mall of Ayala Mall while the restaurant was open on the 30th of January. They also have function rooms that you can request if you want an exclusive area and perfect for corporate meeting and special occasions for Php 8,000 for 14 person consumable for 2 hours.

Since then, people love them and keep coming back to the place because of it extra ordinary menu that is so hit to the Filipino as well as to Expats.

We had the Tinapa Roll for starters and the vinegar was a bit spicy though complement the Tinapa. Then the food from left to the right was serve, Sisig in a Pouch, Laing 2 Ways, Plain and Bagoong Rice, Shrimp on the Rocks, Crispy Boneless Tilapia with Four Sauces, Pinatayong Manok, Kare-kare, Inihaw Sampler, Crispy Boneless Pata, Boneless Patatim.

The top three dish that I totally love was the Sisig in a Pouch because its very interesting it looks like dumplings but there is a surprise when you open it because its not ground meat but Sisig indeed. Second it the Kare-kare because the beef tripe was so tender and the kare-kare sauce was to die for and not to mention the shrimp paste that gives extra flavor for the dish. Lastly was the Pinatayong Manok which is not usual. We all know the Pinaupong Manok but this crispy chicken will be carved right at your table is something makes it unique.

In general, the taste of the food, the ambiance, and the menu prices are great and if there is one thing that I regret was we did not have dessert during that time. I heard they serve Pandan Macapuno Rumble which is very interesting and something new for me as dessert lover and of course the Crispy Leche Flan.

Anyway, I can go back to place where I can order the those desserts that I missed during the event. Will bring my family there and we will also try their Chicken Binakol as one of my friend told me that must try.
