Farm to Table 2nd Anniverary Four Weeks Special

Another year for Farm to Table as they aired their 2nd Annivery.  Chef JR Royol was excited to have their 2nd anniversary to be filmed in his mother's hometown in Barlig, Mountain Province. The pilot episode last Sunday, February 19, 2023 was really amazing, viewers will get a change to learn more not just the culture but also the food that everybody should try!

Chef JR Royol boosted their Pinikpikan. To be honest, I stayed in Baguio for 2 years before but I never tried the dish then I thought, "I miss something in my life during my Baguio stay".  However, I still have a lot of time to go back in there and try it.

During the blogcon, Chef JR Royol, shared to us that one of those memories that he would never forget is the Diningding story, it was hillarious and he even quoted their writer as it says, "Isa't kalahating dagat ata itong nilagay mo, Chef."

Also, he mentioned that in every Filipino dish he opted to have garlic without it won't makes any Filipino dish works.



Chef JR Royol  wish to achieve as a chef to aspire is to have a michelin starr and his mission statement is to be part of the 50 restaurants in the world. If he is not with Farm to Table show he will focus on getting his michelin star.

He was happy to share his memorable feedback from the viewers because of the shows popularity. The love he was getting from the people because of the positive feedback as a cooking show, as a food exploration. He said, "The positivity is so intoxication of getting something positive at least once a week, sarap ng feeling. Specially with the Nany and Tatay that they always watch the show and getting all the recipes."



There are lots of places on his bucket list that he would love to shoot such as Batanes, Hulo, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, New Zealand are among others. His aspiration from Farm to Table is that he intend to have it until he retired and his message to all Farm to Table viewers is that,

"To our viewers I hope every week may bago silang napupulot. amongs our selves, it really come to our lives sana yung viewers ay patuloy na nanonood. The connection that we have to our viewers, imagine a 5 yr old kid na nanood ng show with elders and when you meet them on street they will say lagi naming pinanonood yung show mo kasama si mommy and daddy."
