The concept behind this Lay Bare Waxing Salon is deviation from the mainstream all-around beauty salons. The salon concentrates on providing a full range of body waxing services that highlights a stress-free hair-removal experience to satisfy the customers waxing needs.

To achieve this, Lay Bare combines the use of cold wax jelly with a patch-waxing technique. Cold wax jelly, as opposed to the commonly used hot wax, eliminates the incidents of knicks, cuts or burns, and is relatively painless. In addition, it's made from all-natural ingredients that suits extra-sensitive skin. While on the other hand, the patch waxing technique, is not the usual strip waxing method that you  may know because it decreases skin trauma by removing a small section of hair at a time.

Short History

It was started when Fiona and Monique Hilario tried to satisfy their waxing needs through the Metro's range of beauty parlors. They've put up with the lengthy waiting time, the uncomfortable beds and the most traumatic experience of waxing. So, the sisters finally decided to put up a specialized waxing salon of their own. Their first branch was opened in June of 2006 in Makati City followed in the Quezon City on December of the same year. They even opened their franchised branch in BF, Paranaque in January 2008 has a 19 branches including the 2 in nearby provinces and 2 in the Visayas region. They have been  featured on print countless times both under Lifestyle and Business World, Philippine Daily Inquirer and to name a few by the country's leading fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan Philippines, Marie Claire, mega, FHM, OK! Philippines, etc. They also featured on different TV Shows lie Breakfast, Umagang Kay Ganda, Jessica Soho, Generation RX. Had tie-ups with Mossimo Bikini Summit 207, Philippines Next Top Model 2007 and Ms. Earth-Philippines 2007.

At the Lay Bare Waxing Salon experience, to further enhance a relaxing ambiance, Lay Bare goes for an Asian Fusion inspired/Zen look using natural colors and native furniture pieces. Acrylic bead curtain, minimalist accents, private cubicles and comfortable beds complete the soothing environment.
