Meralco Launches Maliwanag Ang Pasko

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) enjoins everyone to tke part n the company's celebration of the Christmas season. Last November 25, Meralco had open its Liwanag Park to the public, where attractions within the compound will be lit up for the peple to enjoy. joining in this festivity will be Meralco Ambassador of Light, Ms. universe 2011 2nd runner-up Miss Shamcey Supsup.

It's the first time were the comapny launch Meralco Liwanag park, where families can enjoy a light show, Christmas village, night bazaar, electric rides and more. As a part of bigger cause.

Since 2006, the Maliwanag ang Pasko serves as one of Meralco's channels for supporting various charities, and encouraging customers to participate by lighting up homes every Christmas season.

"In line with this year's theme of love and light, Meralco, through One Meralco Foundation will be able to support at least 1,000 children to go to school in the coming year. The public, in turn, can express their support with Meralco in its desire to not only light up the season, but to also help these children attain a better future."
