Paskotitap 2011 :A Christmas Light And Sounds Float Parade

It was a great day today. We attend the 1st birthday of my niece Athasia, and I have a chance to see my sweet and handsome baby boy. Afterwards, we have to go home as early as 4pm just to catch up the Paskotitap Parade and to avoid traffic because it's been a tradition that the main streets of Pasig City like Dr. Sixto Antoni Ave. and A. Mabini St. is always close during this most awaited Christmas event of the City Government of Pasig.

At exactly 5pm the parade was started in Tiendesitas in Barangay Ugong, Pasig city as the place where the big floats are being assembled. This year theme is beautiful magical evening like the yearly Christmas display in front of City Hall, the Pasig Beautiful Christmas Evening Show.

I saw Mayor Bobby Eusebio in the Parade with her wife walking the street. I was able to took a picture of them but my cam is not functioning well during the time (awwwts!). Vice mayor Yoyong was also there and the city councelor with the Barangay Captains of different Barangays.

Floats are really amazing, they are huge, colorful, beautiful and ellegant in different characters of Disnney Land like Kung Fu Panda, Buzz Light Year & Woody of Toy Story. They also have Super hero's like Batman and Superman. In the starting line of the parade I see some costume players or cosplayers who walk with their robots costume. People from different age from kids to oldies had fun with this wonderful event in our town. I know for sure that there are also people who are not residence of Pasig who watch the parade. And I love the Superman float, he full the slay with gifts. Love It!

Like the past years, the Paskotitap 2011 was made possible by the Rotary Club of Pasig, City Office and Councelor office with the supports of different Barangay Officials, companies like San Miguel Corporation, Executioner, DMCI, Ortigas Group of Companies and more.
