Regine Velasquez-Alcasid In Sarap Diva

It was not usual to see the Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is cooking.  Oh well at least with me because all I know about her is that she is the Asia's songbird, the other half of singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid and the mother of  Baby Nate. Having a picture perfect for a happy and contented woman, I never thought that she would do something different for us. .


For sure, it will surprise all her fans, although we see her hosting in some shows like Party Pilipinas and HOT TV. This time another bubbly Regine is here for her brand-new TV Show entitle Sarap Diva. She will extend her home to television in her new TV program.

As a foodie and homemaker, not as an expert chef, Regine will welcome her guests, as they in return, share their stories, their expertise, and their skills in cooking. In this show, she will be bond her guests and viewers. The set serves as Regine’s home away from home, with a backdrop that could take her to another room in the house, or another setting, or even in another place. 

I have given a chance to visit the set and witness what happen. On their pilot episode, two premiere personalities are her guest. Chef Boy Logro and Ms. Jessica Soho will share their tips to Asia's songbird in cooking. Ogie Alcasid is also part of the pilot episode and of course, the virtual appearance of Baby Nate and Regine's dog named George. 

Sarap Diva is the Asia’s Songbird’s new home, where she will cultivate and contributes her love for food, music, and family. SarapDiva will be aired every Saturday starting from October 6, 2012 before Eat Bulaga at GMA 7.
