Ceremonial Cheque Turnover Of Unilever Phils. To WFP

The commitment of Unilever Philippines has to help improve the health and well-being of Filipino children has being renewed by giving the United Nations World Food Programme's (WFP) a support worth P6 Million for the school feeding project in the areas of Central Mindanao.

Knorr as the Unilever's number one food brand is providing 600,000 hot nutritious school meals to 100,000 public elementary school children in Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur, and Lanao del Norte. This program is being partner with the DSWD, DepEd, and WFP.


Unilever and WFP has contributing and helping one another in fighting against hunger in the Philippines from 2008 and up to present, through the global event called "Walked the World" and had already generated an P13.8 Million to fund the school meals here in the Philippines.



WFP has been corporate partner of Unilever for 6 years and donating a total of $18.7 Million to support the works of WFP globally.
