Robinsons Supermarket Indoor Bike Challenge 2017 Powered By San Marino

I got to witness one of the exciting Indoor Bike Challenge this year for San Marino at the Robinsons Starmills Pampanga last weekend where there are over healthy advocates and enthusiast participate the Indoor Cycling exercise and Indoor Cycling Race where there is a big prizes at stake worth of Php 30,000 Robinsons Gift Certificates.

There are different booths such as Food Tasting, BMI and BP Check, Diet Consultation, Kinect, Wii and Photo Booth where Robinsons Starmills customers can join the activity for free. They are giving out passport card where you have to complete and visit the booths and exchange it with a pouch of San Marino Cornned Tuna plus a gift certificate from Elorde Boxing Gym.

It was hosted by a sports caster Jutt Sulit. The event was kicked off to find the next Champion of Indoor Bike Challenge by welcoming the participants of the Key Account Manager of Corporate Sales of San Marino, Mr. Paulo Alvarez.  

Then the Indoor Cycling exercises begin by batch of spinning class with Coach Lexi Noval and there are some reminders for the participant such as:

• Adjust your chair 
• Turn knob to adjust resistance
• Push the resistance knob to STOP
• Call our attention when you're not feeling well
• Drink water

Afterwards the Indoor Cycling Race proper took place and it was very intense. All participants wants to win because the only rule is pedal the farthest distance as you could in 20 minutes. To start, the mechanics are below:

• You only start pedaling when we say GO.
• DO NOT touch resistance knob and monitor.
• When TIME IS UP

           - Stop pedaling

           - Push the resistance knob

           - Hands up

           - Sign beside your recorded distance.

There are 3 rounds of race and the farthest distance among the participants will win. Too bad we did finish the event because we need to headed back in Manila. It was really a tiring day. There will be another San Marino Corned Tuna Indoor Biking Challenge in Robinsons Supermarket Metro East, Blue Wave, Cainta, and Antipolo this July 1-2 and get a chance to win P30,000 worth of Robinsons GC’s on July 9 on their final leg!
